You see, it’s NOT about me – it is REALLY ALL About HIM!

I pray that the words of this website honor, bless and promote HIM because although there is an “im” in Him – it is really only “HIM who matters.

I am just a vessel who constantly needs to be filled up with HIM.

Hi – I’m Kelly, I became a Christian 30 years ago during a Campus Crusade for Christ which took place at the university I was attending while studying Theatre Arts. It was then that I made Jesus Christ my personal Lord and Savior. I had no idea how much that course of action would alter my life – but He has. I found out He had not called me to act, but to write. My prayer is that the words of this blog will encourage you in whatever point you are on your journey. God TRULY loves you and if you allow Him to – He’ll show you how real and true He is. I know because that is what He did with ME. If you ask Him to make Himself real to you, He will. I pray God blesses and keeps you now and always. Please feel free to join my blog as a member or to leave comments or email me if you have any prayer requests or questions! We are many members but one in the body of Christ! Taste and see that the Lord is good – because He TRULY is! God bless you!

.God is calling people to step up, to take a stand for Him. To make a difference. To love, to care, to share, to be real. We are the body of Christ and as such we decide every day how we are going to represent the Lord. I truly believe that we are living in the last days and that Jesus is returning soon.

One Body, Many Members

Taste and See that the Lord is GOOD.  I cannot adequately describe to you “the peace that passes all understanding.” But I can tell you that it is real and that there is nothing better in this world than knowing that GOD LOVES YOU and He has called you by name! The time is short – we are not promised tomorrow, He is calling you now.

For those of you who have already accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but are going through a prodigal time, feel like no one understands or listens or cares or “gets it.”  I can tell you I understand, I’ve been there, done that and when God first called me to write, he had me write a blog entitled, “The Ex-Prodigal’s Daughter” I hope you will find encouragement on my other blog which can be found at: http://www.theprodigalsdaughter.blogspot.com

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 ESV

12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves[a] or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? 18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 If all were a single member, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts,[b] yet one body.

21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, 24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, 25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. 26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

“But Kelly, how do I make Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior?”

It’s easy really – and it is something that will change your ENTIRE life.  I didn’t know it at the time just how much this prayer would change my life, but it did and I promise you, if you sincerely pray it, God WILL make a huge difference in your life. He made a difference in mine and He does not have any favorites – He’ll make a difference in yours too.

“Dear God,
I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness.
I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died
for my sin and that you raised Him to life.
I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord,
from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will.
I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

The Bible

The Word of God

Want to get closer to God? The best way to do that is to get into His Word.  God has maintained the integrity of His Word throughout the generations for YOU.  Want to know God’s heart?  Want to hear God speak to you? Read His Word…  Honestly just “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Proverbs 34:8) by reading it and finding out for yourself just how real our God is…  As You read it, you will find that it becomes hidden in your heart.  It becomes a “heart thing.”  It is the living, breathing Word of God.  It is the BEST read you will EVER have!

The Bible says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2nd Timothy 3:16-17)
