I don’t write for the popularity of writing; I write for perhaps that ONE soul that Holy Spirit directs my way… I know that it is easy to feel alone in a room crowded with people, and we have an enemy that continues to taunt us and try to tell us that God has forsaken us. I promise you that is not true… You see our God is not a God that He would lie. Ol’ slewfoot is the father of lies, of deception and he would like nothing better than to deceive you and make you feel as though God has abandoned you. He hasn’t… Do you want to feel God’s presence? I’m going to share something with you that you might not “feel” like doing right now, it may feel like you are going against the grain of what you are feeling or even experiencing at this point in your life, but it is one of the most powerful weapons we have and yet it is the one we often don’t yield because we don’t “feel” like doing it. So I am asking you again, “Do you want to feel God’s presence????” If you are saying “yes” than I want you to trust me in this and do this – even if it goes against how you are feeling. Okay??? Okay! Repeat after me:
“Father God, I thank You that Your Word is true. I thank You that I can believe Your Word for You are not a God that You would lie. I thank You that You are El Roi (the God Who sees me). I thank You that Your Word tells me that my steps are ordained by You! I choose to go against my feelings, which waiver and hold fast to Your truth! I worship You this day Father! I give You glory and honor and praise because no matter WHAT I am experiencing or feeling You are STILL worthy of the praise! I thank You that You are the Author and Finisher of my faith! I thank You that You are GREATER than any situation that is troubling me. Any depression that is trying to take away my joy! I decree and declare that Jesus IS my Savior, that I have made Him LORD OVER my life! Therefore my life is NOT my own but Yours! Your Word tells me that YOU are in control! That YOU are the Lifter of my head! That You have made me the head and NOT the tail! I love You Father! I love You Jesus! I love You Holy Spirit! Father, Your Word tells me to trust you with ALL my heart and in ALL my ways to acknowledge You and YOU will direct my path! I choose NOT to put my trust in myself but in You! You SAID You would provide for ALL my needs according to Your riches and glory. I put my faith and my trust in You. I glorify Your name! I praise Your name on high! I thank You for being the Alpha and the Omega the begging and the end! I thank You that You are omnipotent and You see ALL things! I raise my arms (raise them) and praise Your Holy name! I worship You Oh King of Kings and Lord of LORDS! Prince of Peace! Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world! Thank You for forgiveness of my sins! Thank You for guidance! Thank You for mercy! Thank You for Your grace! Thank You for healing over my emotions! Thank you for providing for me! Thank You for loving me! Hallelujah! You are WORTHY to be praised! As long as I have breath in my body I will praise Your name on high! I refuse to let the rocks cry out louder than I! You are God! You reign! Your mercies are new every day! You know my thoughts before I even think them! Father, I ask that You would help me RIGHT now feel Your presence! I pray that You would fill me with Your peace that passes ALL understanding! I thank You for hearing me worship You and pray! I thank You that You are almighty God! That You know even better than I do what I need. I pray as Jesus taught, “my Father, Who art in Heaven, Hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven! Give me this day my daily bread and forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me! Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever! Father, fill me by Your Holy Spirit with Your presence. Help me to know that when I am weak, You are strong! Help me to feel Your love today. I need You! Every moment of every day! I cannot get through this thing called life without You – nor do I choose to do so! Be glorified in my life! Send forth my warring angels to combat anything that is trying to convince me that I am alone. I am NEVER alone because YOU are with me! Jesus, You said You would be with me until the end of time. Holy Spirit You live within my heart, touch me and soothe my tired soul. I give You all the praise, all the glory for You are God! I worship You and trust You and love You. My God is good, my God is alive! My God sees me! My God is stronger and greater than anything the devil would try to through my way! I rebuke any lies the enemy has whispered in my ears! I rejoice and praise God for ministering to me RIGHT now! Father, fill me with Your presence and Your love. In Jesus’ precious name I pray, AMEN.”
YOU ARE NEVER ALONE. YOU CAN BELIEVE GOD’S WORD BECAUSE IT IS TRUTH! NOTHING, NO ONE, NO SITUATION IS GREATER THAN GOD! YOU CAN TRUST HIM. HE IS HOLDING YOU IN THE VERY PALM OF HIS HAND.
If you find you are still feeling down after praying the above, pray it over and over again until the joy of the Holy Spirit fills your soul and I PROMISE you, you will! God’s love is real and He loves you BIG! You just have to believe. 😉
