And satan laughs…. And continues to have his minions put the squeeze on God’s anointed ones. But here is the thing – MY Bible tells me that “Greater IS He that is in me than he that is in the world.” The truth is my strength does not come from myself. Oh no! It comes from the precious Word of God and when the squeeze is on me, I drop to my knees and call upon the God of truth! The God of love! The God of mercy! The God of strength! The God of forgiveness! The God of grace! Who happens to be my Heavenly Father! My Savior! He IS greater than ANYTHING that could cause me to drop to my knees. I do not fight against flesh and blood but spiritual principalities in high places, but here is the thing!!!! The fight is NOT mine!!! Get behind me satan, I’m covered in the precious blood of MY Savior, Jesus! The lifter of my head! My redeemer! My Lord! The devil tries to use the people you love most to hurt you, accuse you, find fault in you and we have to stand firm in what we know. In who we are – even if a thousand fall at our right- ten thousand at our left! Sometimes it is so hard to stay focused. The blows of a loved one cut deep – but we need to pray for them! Intercede! Continue to walk in the truth and God WILL reveal in the light what was hidden in the darkness. We need to pray for those who persecute us and realize that the battle is NOT ours – it IS His. “Father God, I give You this battle. I pray You send legions of Your angels to fight for me. You see ALL things, nothing surprises YOU. I pray You break all strongholds surrounding those I love and draw them (as You once drew me) into the knowledge and love of You. I bind the enemy in Jesus’ name. I know that You are greater. Help me to stay focused on what YOU think and not what others think. In Jesus’ name I pray AMEN”
