I have been watching the series, “The Chosen” and I would like to highly recommend this Christian series on the life of Jesus and the personal relationships that it portrays as examples of how He interacted with others. What I love about this series is that it brings to light the fact that Jesus is not some “fable character” written on the pages of a book. JESUS IS REAL. Jesus is fully man and fully God. He is part of the Trinity as described on The Called Remnants Home page: Home | (the-called-remnant.com) There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal.
Jesus had relationships while walking this earth and He wants to have a relationship with YOU. He is personal. He IS real. He IS Lord. The way that you begin a relationship with Him is to enter into a relationship with him by asking Him to come into your heart, making Him Lord over your life, and accepting Him as Savior. If you desire to know Him and walk IN the fullness of ALL He has for your life, pray with me:
“Father God, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for forgiveness of my sins. I come before You right now confessing my sins and asking you to forgive me, wash me with the precious blood of Jesus. Jesus, please come into my heart and be Lord over my life, I recognize and accept You as my Savior. I believe You were born of the virgin Mary, lived and died on the cross for forgiveness of my sins and rose from the dead and will come again. Thank You God, Thank You Father, I invite Holy Spirit to live inside my heart. Be with me aways Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”
If you have prayed with me, you have now entered into the MOST important relationship you will ever into. He is with You and the Bible says in Luke 15:10:
“There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Having a relationship with Jesus, is personal. He will talk with you as you open up the Bible and read the Word of God. Holy Spirit is now within you, and He will guide, direct and transform your mind as you look to grow in Christ. I say this to you based upon personal experience. I made Jesus my Lord and Savior 34 years ago by praying that prayer and I had NO idea the extent that He would BECOME my life. There are no adequate words to describe the transformation that occurs within you once you make Jesus Lord and Savior of your life. The only way to understand it, is to do it! Then you begin to experience the MOST REAL and wonderful relationship with HIM and because it is personal, it will be in ways that YOU need Him. It is PERSONAL, it is INDIVIDUAL. The relationship that He develops with you will be different than the relationship that He develops with me, because you are special and unique to God. God has NO favorites; He loves us all the same – but it IS a personal relationship between you and Him. Open yourself up Holy Spirit and learn to have eyes to see, ears that hear and a heart to receive all that God wants to reveal to you and He will.
If you have prayed that prayer, you have just entered into the most fulfilling, most endearing, most satisfying relationship you will ever enter into and as you grow in Christ you will want to grow closer and closer to Him every day. You will develop a hunger for intimacy with God and He will wrap you up in His loving arms and love you in a manner that one can ONLY have with the One who created Him to be in fellowship with Him. I promise you this! How can I promise that? Because I have experienced myself! And it IS personal and as long as you have breath in your body He will renew and transform your mind taking you deeper into levels of intimacy with the God who is the lover of your soul in ways that you cannot imagine. May God reveal Himself to you as the personal God He is and may He fill your spirit and bless your soul now and always. Taste and see that the Lord is good!
