The Time is NOW

Throughout the cross of history man has always made things more complicated than God intended.  Have you ever thought how much our actions must pain the Father? I can only speak for myself, but there are times when I grimace at the mistakes I have made, the things I have said or done.  Can you imagine what it will be like when you stand before the Father at the judgement seat?  There you stand, alone with no one holding your hand, the Father before you and the books of your life are open before Him, every seen of your life quickly is broadcast for ALL to see – every thought, every action, what was hidden in the dark is now brought into the light – it says such will be the case as in Luke 8:17:

“For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.”

or as in Luke 12:3:

“Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.”

or as in 1 Corinthians 4:5:

“Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.”

He sees every hateful thought or mean word you have uttered against your brother or sister. He knows the depth of your heart, there is no hiding from Him and all will be displayed before the courts of Heaven. God looks at the heart, He sees the truth of you (and of me). 

Should not we take this in consideration now?  

Will Jesus step forward from the right-hand of the Father and proclaim:

“Father, this one is mine.”

Did not Jesus say this in Matthew 7:21-23:

 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?” “And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.”

And it goes on to say in Matthew 7:24-27:

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock; And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

WE HAVE FREE-WILL, WE GET TO CHOOSE

If you look throughout God’s Word (the Bible), every situation written is to TEACH us something in the here and now, if ONLY we choose to open our hearts to receive what it is Holy Spirit is saying.  As you read these words, what is it that Holy Spirit is saying to YOU?

Is it not better to feel conviction now?  To repent and to learn ALL that God wants to teach us NOW so that when that day comes and Jesus steps forward He will remind the Father that you are INDEED one of His.  That not only did you choose to be part of His Called Remnant, but that when you made Him Lord OVER your life, accepted Him as your Savior, you did so FROM YOUR HEART.  That it was a TRUE conversion.  How can you tell?

Have you made God the center of your life?  Is His will and His plan for your life more important than ANYTHING the world has brought before you?

Do You feel Holy Spirit, Who has taken up residence in your heart from the moment you repented and gave your life to Christ speaking to you? Guiding you?

Directing your path?  And when His still quiet guiding voice speaks to your heart do you listen or shut it out and go about your own way?

Does the light of Christ radiate in you? Do you feel it like fire shut up in your bones?

Do you care more about the approval, advice, words and opinions of others than you do about what is just and pleasing to God?

Do you stand up for the Word of God or do you care more about the thoughts of others than you do taking a stand for God and what He tells you is right or wrong?

These are all just a few of the signs that you have given your heart and your life to the One Who took your sins upon His sin-less self and died on the cross for forgiveness of those sins.  Jesus says in Revelations 3:16:

 ^“So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”

There is no GREATER joy than walking with Christ, it doesn’t mean that life will be easy – in fact, truth be told if you belong to Jesus, you are the enemy of the devil, but God IS greater! He says in Hebrews 13:5:

“I will never leave nor forsake you.”

This walk is a TRUST walk with the Father, we were not made to live independently of Him – we are dependent upon Him, but here is the thing:

GOD IS TRUSTWORTHY

HE IS NOT MAN THAT HE WOULD LIE

We were not originally created to die, but when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden death entered into this world.  No one likes to talk or think about death, but it doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. People don’t like to think about their mortality, but not thinking about it or making choices in considering it doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen.  Is it not ironic that we buy life insurance and every other insurance that companies offer but we choose to put of the only REAL assurance that Jesus paid SUCH a high price for us to have????

THE TIME IS NOW

“Father God, I know You have brought me this post for a reason, maybe of which You are the only One to know why – but You’ve captured my attention, I’m listening now… I admit that my life is in Your hands, it ALWAYS has been – even when I haven’t wanted to face it.  I’m facing it now!  Father, I don’t want to stand before You with my life flashing before the throne room of Heaven with my sins left uncovered and exposed! Jesus, right now I ask for Your forgiveness!  I ask that You cover my sins with Your precious blood!  I ask You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior!  Forgive me! Wash me! I’ve done SO many stupid things in my life and I confess that I NEED YOU! This day I CHOOSE YOU!  Holy Spirit You are welcome as my Teacher, my Guide and my Comforter, show me on THIS side of the grave ALL I need to learn and know to glorify my Heavenly Father.  I confess that I am a hot mess and I need You to reign in my life. Thank You Father! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Holy Spirit!  In Jesus’ precious name I pray, AMEN”

If you repented and prayed that prayer, Isaiah 1:18 says:

““Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.”

God loves you SO much!  There have been SO many times when I have asked Him WHY He loves me – I still don’t know the answer to that! 😉  But I know He does. Let Him love on you and show you ALL that He has for you to fulfill in this life He has given you, honestly there is NO greater peace and No greater joy than knowing you belong to Him.
