I’ve been thinking about Paul. It must blow his mind away that his captivity has been used to bring freedom to so many. To set us free by his writings. Can you imagine the magnitude of souls that have gotten and continued to get saved, grow in Christ and then spread the Word of God out to others because of Paul’s writings that he wrote while being in captivity? That is HUGE.
God is amazing and there is NO telling what He will do if you commit your life to Him. If you allow Him to use you as His vessel the possibilities are BEYOND ANYTHING our tiny minds can fathom. All by being obedient. The Holy Spirit needs vessels. NOT “religious, pompous, judgmental, people-stuck-in-religious-tradition” BUT people who WANT God to be glorified in their lives, people who realize BUT God, people who know that it is TRULY ONLY God and what He wants that matters.
People who don’t “put God in a religious box” when HE is sooooooo MUCH bigger than that. I’m quite sure the people that the Bible speaks of – Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, Joseph, Sampson, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to name JUST a few – had NO idea that their lives would trickle down the age of time and have an impact on so MANY generations and lives. There is NO WAY they could have understood the HUGE effect their lives (faults and all) would have throughout the course of history, touching soooooo many lives! BUT GOD!!! But God knew!!!
Do you not know that if the Bible IS the same yesterday, today as it will be tomorrow that God is STILL in the habit of using a trickle down effect with the people who commit their lives today??? YOUR LIFE matters!!! Tag YOUR it! Let the Holy Spirit transform you, use you, minister through you. You say, “Yeah but Kelly, I’m not perfect, there is so much God is working on me about…” My response is – the ONLY perfect person is JESUS and that is because He is the Son of God. Every biblical person that I mentioned above was STILL a work in progress!!! They had faults, they were sinners who by the grace of God were used for HIS glory!!! That is what God shows us with each of their stories!!! As long as we have breath in our bodies we are ALL works in progress!!! Don’t get caught up with the modern day Pharisees the “religious” folk who are too busy being caught up in your life feasting on what they “presume” are your inadequacies that they aren’t focused on their own. Satan would side track your walk to get caught up in their opinions. DON’T. Keep stepping, let them stay in their tiny social circle talking about “brother this and that” and “sister so and so” God’s got bigger things for you to attend to! There is work for you to do and if you allow Him, He will use you as the vessel of the Holy Spirit and He will do GREAT things! You only have to believe🙏🙏🙏❤️
