Here is a new thought for you to bring into this new day, this new year that God has given us. Here is what we need to remember, Holy Spirit is telling us as in Isaiah 43:1-7:
“But now thus says the Lord,
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
3 For I am the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
I give Egypt as your ransom,
Cush and Seba in exchange for you.
4 Because you are precious in my eyes,
and honored, and I love you,
I give men in return for you,
peoples in exchange for your life.
5 Fear not, for I am with you;
I will bring your offspring from the east,
and from the west I will gather you.
6 I will say to the north, Give up,
and to the south, Do not withhold;
bring my sons from afar
and my daughters from the end of the earth,
7 everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made.”
If you turn your eyes to Him, and tune in to what God is saying to you this day; IF you by the free will that God has given you decide to say, “Yes and amen” to ALL that God has in store for you (and for me) in 2022 we can walk in joy and in the knowledge that He who has called us by name WILL do a good work in and through us to glorify His name. We are not to look towards our own strength, we are not to look behind us – but ahead. We are to seek Him early in the morning when we rise. To recognize that He IS El Roi (the God who sees me) and that as long as we commit all we are, all we do, all we have to Him – HE WILL be glorified in our lives.
As I prayed this morning, I prayed that God would restore us. I prayed that God would help us to see Him more clearly. I prayed that God would help us not to lose focus. I prayed that for many of us who have felt alone, rejected and set aside that God would help us NOT to believe the lies of the enemy. I prayed that God would reveal Himself more and more to us in a MIGHTY way and for many of us to have the joy of the Lord restored to our hearts. I believe that 2022 will be a year of restoration, a year of reconciliation and a year of healing. We forget, Remnant that the battle HAS ALREADY BEEN WON by the victory Jesus obtained for us by his death and resurrection! Many of us have been beaten down and have lost our joy. I am praying for restoration. A new indwelling of Holy Spirit. A fresh anointing. I decree and declare that every eye that reads these words will be touched by Holy Spirit and will regain focus on the One who has called them! Father, I pray that you would enable us to walk by faith this year and not by sight. That we would keep our eyes lifted upon the lifter of our head (You, Lord!) I pray that you through Holy Spirit would renew our minds. That we would as in Isaiah 40:31:
“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.”
“Father YOU are our strength and our song. (As in Exodus 15:2). Our hope is in YOU. Restore us Oh Lord with this new year! Touch every reader and fill them with hope! Encourage us Holy Spirit! Breath on us a new breath. Give us a new wind! Be glorified! And we shall thank You in Jesus precious name. AMEN“
We grow weary when we try to figure out things on our own, let us lay ALL concerns at the cross and begin 2022 with a joyful heart. WE ARE THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD. He is with us! Let us continue to keep our eyes focused on Him and not the circumstances that we see presenting itself in the world. Let us remind ourselves that God has called us to such a time as this and let us rise to the occasion! God is greater than ANY of our circumstances, our trust is NOT in this world, it is in and of Him! Let us determine to hide His Word in our heart, intercede for those around us and go forward in HIS strength and not depend upon our own. Greater is HE that is in US than he that is within the world. We can do ALL things in Christ who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13)
He IS El Roi, He sees us, let us walk in the knowledge of how very MUCH He loves us. As we do so, our cups WILL run over, and God will use us to pour into the lives of others and show the love of Christ. Beloved Remnant, we are to be the hands and feet of Christ. Remember as you start this year who it is Who called you and Who holds you in the palms of His hands. (See Isaiah 49:16)
We are beginning a brand-new year, a fresh new sheet of life to write upon… Here we go – IN HIM. May He be glorified. \0/
