Remember to Walk in Love~

Sometimes Jesus is just calling you to be obedient and walk in love. Oh this can be one of the hardest things He calls us to do! I find myself thinking of Noah quite a bit. Surrounded by people with hardened hearts, full of pride, selfish, know-it-alls, naysayers – yeah, we are called to LOVE them, to intercede on their behalf and it is NOT something that is easy.

I woke up this morning heavy hearted over so many people that I am interceding for, but here is the thing – WE are not the Waymaker – GOD IS. He is the ONLY one that can soften hearts and turn their attention towards Him. You are not called to “save” anyone – you are called to diligently intercede on their behalf before the throne room of God. They are not rejecting YOU they are rejecting HIM. Pray believing that God will soften their hearts!

I think of John the Baptist – crying in the wilderness – Those of us who are part of God’s Remnant are crying in the wilderness too!

“TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION! CHOOSE JESUS TODAY!”

The day is coming when the choice that you make will be the choice that you live with for ALL eternity and that choice will vibrate over and over again in your head – you will either be glad for it or tormented because of it.

Remnant – this is a time where we MUST intercede, where we MUST pray! Where we must put our own “hurt feelings” or “feelings of rejection” because of our faith to the side and prayer even more diligently for those that are walking in ignorance. God IS the Waymaker! He IS the heart softner, He IS the One who makes blind eyes see!

How do I know this? Because I once was blind but NOW I see! He did it to me 34years ago!

It is not by power, not by might but by HIS Spirit and His Spirit alone! If Jesus stands at the right side of the Father interceding diligently for us and we are called to be like Jesus is – shouldn’t WE His Remnant be doing the same?

We need to cast the hurt of being a family outcast away! They are NOT rejecting YOU they are rejecting Jesus. And I know it hurts, as you intercede on their behalf loving them in a higher form than what they can perceive also pray that the Holy Spirit heals you from family wounds. Ol’ Slewfoot loves to stick it to us when he can, but don’t let this keep you from going forward in all that God is asking you may be the only person praying for someone! Interceding for them! Your prayers are powerful – Prayers done by faith are a powerful weapon!

The Bible tells us “The prayers of the righteous availath MUCH.” Turn your eyes to towards Jesus and pray! The results are NOT up to you, but the praying part is!

Trust in Him! Know that He loves those you love so MUCH more than you EVER could! Cast off the pain, cast off the anger, cast off the hurt . You are NOT rejected you are chosen! He chose YOU to pray on behalf of someone else! What a calling! What a privilege! One day we will get to Heaven and oh how surprised will we be when we see the results of the intercession we did for those we did not know the end results of those prayers we made by faith. This is a strong calling and it is one that can be very painful, but it is one that your Savior is very familiar with – so go forward and believe in the God who gives results. He is ABLE to turn those hearts of stone to hearts of flesh, keep loving as Jesus loves – and that means PRAY!
