True lasting beauty can ONLY be found in Christ. Fleshly beauty is fleeting, and vain, lasting eternal beauty is found when you discover the One Who is the lover of your soul!
I truly wish I could convey how the love of Christ illuminates EVERY part of who you are once you choose to accept Jesus as Savior, make Him Lord OVER your life. Joy floods your soul, contentment, fulfillment and the very knowledge that you are SO loved by the God Who created you when you were in your mother’s womb. To know the love of God and the extent that He has gone through to SHOW you how much He loves you fills you with gratefulness and thankfulness that goes beyond ANY words I can adequately write!
Walking in the love of Christ, seeking His purpose for your life is one of the MOST fulfilling things you can do! Once you have become one of God’s Called Remnants (a Born-Again Believer) your focus changes, as you spend time in prayer and draw close to God, He in turn “pulls up a chair” and draws closer yet to you. Hey, it says in James 4:8:
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”
When you recognize and acknowledge the Father, determine in your heart and mind to live for Him, your priorities change. Everything you do, you determine to do unto Him. Spiritual growth in Christ IS a process, but Holy Spirit takes residence in your heart and begins to work on the inner side of you, and believe me when I say, Holy Spirit is the BEST “make-up Artist” you will EVER encounter! 😉 I won’t say growth and change is not painful, it is – but entrusting and turning your life over to God to reconstruct you into what He originally planned for you to be… Well, let me just say, if you have placed yourself in the Father’s hands, you are in the BEST place you can POSSIBLY be. Proverbs 30:4 tells us:
“God holds us in the palm of his hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 says:
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

“Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.”
What are my beauty tools? I’m happy to share them with you – they are the fruits of the spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.”
When you fall deeply in love with Jesus, the light of Christ will radiate from you creating a beauty that the world cannot mimic or recreate. Knowing that God TRULY loves you with an everlasting love creates an inner champaign feeling of gratitude and thanks that bubbles up from the inside until it overflows to EVERY aspect of your being – who you are as you continue to strive to become ALL that God wants you to be! Cinderella may have had her “fairy God mother” but YOU have the love of the One Who is NOT a “fairytale” but is the ONE TRUE GOD! True beauty is ONLY found in knowing and loving Him. When you are in Christ the world looks at you are wanting what you have – not knowing that the ONLY thing that separates you from them is the fact that you have accepted God’s redemptive gift! When you accept Jesus as your personal Savior, choose Him to be Lord OVER your life, allow Holy Spirit to take residence in your heart – your beauty comes from receiving forgiveness for sins that were weighing you down. Allowing God’s grace and mercy to fill your soul. Allowing God to love you as He ALWAYS intended to love you! Eternal beauty ONLY comes from being in Christ! It doesn’t “wear out” or “fade away” it last eternally FOREVER. If you want to experience what I have experienced and so many others (men AND women) that I know have experienced, then please pray with me:
“Father God, I want to be beautiful – in You. I want the light of Christ to radiate from me! I want to be filled with Your peace, Your mercy, Your love! I choose THIS day to accept the gift of salvation that You have given me through Your Son, Jesus the Christ, Who was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sin-less life and died a death on the cross for forgiveness of my sins. I believe that Jesus rose from the dead, ascended to Heaven and is seated on Your right-hand interceding on my behalf even now. Jesus, I give You my life. Please come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Holy Spirit, You are welcome there! I love You Father, I love You Jesus, I love You Holy Spirit! In Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen!”
Awwww you did it now! \0/ \0/ \0/ Did you know that the Bible says in Luke 15:7:
“I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”
There is a BIG party in Heaven going on right now – in YOUR honor! Hallelujah! Now if you can, walk over to a mirror and take a look at you! Beautiful child of God who is WELL loved by her Father! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! YOU ARE LOVED! YOU ARE BLESSED! God has SUCH plans for you! I will tell you that as you continue to grow in Christ, you WILL find yourself changing! FOR THE BETTER! And people around you WILL comment! They may not know WHAT the change is that has occurred in you but believe ME they will see it! So, what is your beauty plan? To continue to immerse yourself in the Word of God. To continue to draw nearer to the Father and allow Him to draw nearer to you! Believe me, while that is not the beauty plan that the world will give you – it’s the only one that will last. Eternally and for ALL time.
