Don’t believe the lies of the devil if during this new year He has you convinced that God cannot possibly use you. That is an absolute lie from the pit of hell! Nothing about you comes as a surprise to God! Not what you have done! Not what you have thought! Not even where you are at this present moment!
GOD SEES ALL!
Listen, did you wake up this morning? Do you still have breathe in your lungs? Then God STILL has a purpose for your life! Maybe you feel like you’ve missed the mark. Maybe you are having difficulty with a certain issue in your life – it doesn’t matter WHAT it is! God IS bigger! He wants you to know that He is the God of turn around! Mark 2:17 Jesus says:
““It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” “
Listen, the ONLY perfect person who ever lived IS Jesus. He does NOT expect perfection from us, we are works in progress! As long as we have breathe in our bodies – we are being transformed. In fact, Romans 12:2 tells us:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
The Bible is full of examples of the imperfection of people! We make mistakes! We sin! But here is the thing! When we sin if we ask God for forgiveness, He is faithful and just to forgive us! So if there is an area within your life that you are kicking yourself over, isn’t it time you turned it over to the One who died on the cross for forgiveness of YOUR sins???? That is called repenting! God is willing to forgive you! And not only to forgive you, but to give you the strength, the wisdom and the mercy to turn your life around. If you have reached a point in your life where you are saying:
“I just can’t get this area right on my own!”
It’s time for you to lay it at the foot of the cross of the One who can… In fact, He’s patiently, mercifully, gracefully waiting for you to do so – it’s why Holy Spirit has brought you to the words in this post right now. Hey – I’ve been there! I have gone around and around, like a dog chasing her tail over an area in my life until I got tired and fell on my face before the father, admitting that I CANNOT do it, I CANNOT change on my own! I NEED Him! – And you know what beloved reader? When I reached the end of ME, I found God was right there, just waiting for me to say, “YES” to His help.
We can’t do it alone – there is no shame in admitting that, in fact – admitting it shows that we are now willing and able to say, “YES” to receiving God’s help. If that’s you, then let’s pray:
“Father God, I thank You that Your Word tells me that “you are an ever present help in times of trouble.” I thank You right now for hearing this prayer… Father, forgive me for my sins, wash me with the precious blood of Jesus.”
(NOW RIGHT THERE IN THE PRIVACY OF WHEREVER YOU ARE – CONFESS TO HIM WHAT IT IS YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH. IT’S OKAY – TELL HIM. VERBALLY TELL GOD WHAT SIN IT IS THAT YOU ARE BATTLING, THAT YOU NEED HIS HELP FOR. HE ALREADY KNOWS WHAT IT IS – BUT IT IS PART OF DEFEATING IT BY VERBALIZING WHAT IT IS. DON’T LET SHAME KEEP YOU FROM SAYING IT. GOD IS RIGHT THERE WITH YOU LISTENING…)
“Father, I need Your help in this area within me. I need You to transform my mind by Your Spirit. I need healing over this area in my life. I repent and I lay this right at the foot of the cross. Please forgive me and heal me and change me Lord. I thank You that You are BIGGER than any situation or problem I face. I give it to You. Now Father, I release it – right now in Jesus name. I leave it with You to cover with Jesus’ precious blood and I thank You that in accordance to Your promises in Your Word – I AM Healed! I AM Set free! I AM forgiven! Thank You Father! I praise Your Holy Name for I have just been delivered and set free! Now I pray that Holy Spirit will continue to minister to me, and that You will keep Your Waring angels around me, protecting me! I give You ALL the glory, All the honor and ALL the praise! I am free! Sin has NO hold on me! The number of my days YOU will fulfill! I can do ALL things in Christ Who strengthens me! You have made me the head and NOT the tail! Glory to Your name! In Jesus’ name I release it! I receive forgiveness for it! And I will continue to go on in You! AMEN!”
Now you should feel a release with you, if you prayed that prayer! Joy should begin flooding your soul! Peace should be coming in! You are a NEW creation in Christ! He is right there with you right now, ministering to you! If you find you are battling thoughts about it again, you just start to pray to Your Father! God has a purpose and a plan for your life – start or continue seeking it! He WILL reveal it to you!
YOU HAVE A CALLING! YOU HAVE A PURPOSE! GOD WANTS TO REVEAL IT TO YOU! YOU JUST HAVE TO SAY – “YES!”
God is able to use those things we have gone through to help someone else for His glory! It can be a total humbling experience, but it is also rewarding, to see someone else who is where you once were at be set free from the same thing, because you were transparent enough to share that they are not alone! That they are not the only one who has struggled! God really does take our messes and turn them into messages that will bring others into the know that God does NOT expect perfection from us – that God IS able to heal, to deliver, to set-free those who are willing to come to Him and repent! Sometimes it is instantaneous, sometimes it is a process. All God wants you to do is SAY YES. Isn’t it time you did? He’s waiting.
