I can only write what I know… And I pray that it blesses you as you read it. I’m NOT God. I don’t have all the answers… But my blog and my writings if you read them will point you to the One who IS the answer. Whatever you are going through – the answer is GOD. THAT is what I want you to know.
I can only write what Holy Spirit gives me. Sometimes God feels far away, but He’s not, He’s right there with you even as you read these words. God is never out of control, God is never surprised. He knows how you feel, He knows how you think. It is pointless to hide anything from Him. It is senseless to put on a false bravado if you are hurting, if you are sad, if you are angry, if you are depressed, if you are confused. Whatever you are feeling – God knows.
Unlike us, God never changes, He is reliable. He is trustworthy. You CAN depend upon Him. God is the ONLY ONE in this life that you CAN depend on. If you accept Him as Savior, make Him Lord OVER your life – He will NEVER leave you. He will NEVER forsake you. He IS the ONLY Constant. We are not to be led by our circumstances or our feelings. We are to walk BY faith, even when it feels as though everything around us is crumbling. Even when it feels as though we are alone. WE ARE NOT. Say that out loud and repeat it as often as you need to:
“I decree and declare that I am NOT alone. God IS with me. He is NOT a God that He would lie. I am His and He is MINE. I am a child of the UTMOST HIGH GOD who loved me enough to send His Only begotten Son to die on the cross for forgiveness of my sins. GOD LOVES ME. I am His. Thank You God for loving me. Thank You God for blessing me. Thank You God for forgiving me. Jesus, thank You for taking my sins upon You and dying for me. Holy Spirit, thank You for residing in me and for being my Teacher, my Guide, my Comforter. I pray that You would give me eyes to see You. Ears to Hear You. A nose to smell you sweet fragrance. A heart to receive You. Help me to be sensitive to Your Spirit. Help me NOT to be led by my feelings or my circumstances. Help me to tune into You and not the world. In Jesus name I beseech you and I thank You. Amen.”
Our lives are not ours when we have committed them to God.
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
We live in a sinful, fallen world that is filled with things that God NEVER desired us to experience, but Jesus has defeated and conquered this world. He is VICTORIOUS. Since we are in Him, we are victorious too! Hold on to those words when the devil comes at you with ALL he has to discourage you or make you doubt God. God IS with you and He will NEVER leave you. Whatever we go through in life, God is with us. NOTHING surprises God, even when it surprises us.
Praying is simply talking to God. You don’t have to talk to Him fancy, or even long. He just wants you to be you with Him. Just be you. God delights in you. There is no greater joy than having a one-on-one personal relationship with God. The world says that is not possible, but I tell you – it is MORE than possible. It is the truth. There will never be a greater relationship than the One you can have with the One who knew you when you were formed in your mother’s womb. (See Psalm 139:13-16). As I said in the beginning, I don’t have all the answers, but I know the One who does, and you can know Him too – His name is Jesus. He is Lord of Lords, King of Kings and here is the most important thing you’ll ever need to know – HE REIGNS.
