Your life matters! Even if you think it does not. God created you for a reason! Even if you don’t know what that reason is – you can go to God in prayer and ask! Sometimes people get overwhelmed with “how to pray”, listen – prayer is JUST conversing with God!
JUST TALK TO HIM AS IF HE WAS SITTING RIGHT ACROSS FROM YOU!
(Because He IS with you!)
God WANTS to hear your thoughts! He WANTS you to tell Him what is on your mind (even though the Bible tells in Psalm 139:2:)
“You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.”
He STILL wants you to talk to Him and tell Him. This is how you establish a “personal relationship” with Him. At first it may feel strange, but as you continue to talk to God, you will find yourself automatically talking to Him throughout your day. Honestly, God LOVES that!
HE LOVES YOU!
Growing in your relationship with Him is the MOST important thing you can do in your life. And God IS real, He will reveal Himself to you as you seek Him.
There is NO greater joy than making Him the VERY center of your life. That is where the “peace that passes ALL understanding abides”, that is where you can experience His love, His forgiveness, His mercy, His grace and most of all the presence of Holy Spirit Who (upon you accepting Jesus as your Savior, choosing to make Him Lord OVER your life) lives deep within your heart and if you take moments to quiet yourself and be still, Holy Spirit will speak to you and tell you great and wonderous things. Will you pray with me?
“Father God, thank You for wanting to use me to glorify Your name. I am humbled by Your love, Your mercy, Your forgiveness and Your grace. I feel so inadequate and unsure… Please forgive me for all my sins and wash me in the precious blood of Jesus. Strengthen me where I am weak, where I am strong please help me to walk in Your strength. Please guide me and direct my steps. I know I can do ALL things through Christ Who strengthens me, help me to hear Your voice more clearly and to ignore the taunts of the enemy. I can do NOTHING on my own. I NEED You. Please direct me and help me to live a life of fulfilling Your purpose for me in it. Give me divine appointments, words to say, discernment and wisdom. Holy Spirit teach me ALL I need to know. I belong to You. You gave Your life for me, Jesus and so I choose to give MY life to You. I love You. You ARE my Savior, LORD OVER my life. Please be glorified. In Your precious name I pray, amen.”
Taking time to read God’s Word draws you into a deeper relationship with Him. It is His love letter and guidebook for us. It TRULY is the LIVING Word of God. Seeking after God’s heart is the MOST important thing you can do – not only for yourself but for those you love, for our world – intercessory prayer is no little thing and I have found as I grow older in Christ, that intercessory prayer is a POWERFUL weapon to defeat the enemy. Walking by faith is an exercise that we MUST continue in ALL the days of our lives. And it is not always easy, the devil doesn’t want you to fulfill your purpose in Christ. He and his little demons will do EVERYTHING they can to distract you, try to turn your eyes from seeking God and putting Him first. We need to continuously press forward because as in
“Greater is He that is You than he that is within the world” and “we can do ALL things through Christ Who strengthens us.”
Always remember that we are in the midst of a spiritual battle that is ALL around us! The victory is already ours through Christ Jesus, but we MUST remember that we are Ambassadors for Christ. Never forget that! He has equipped us with the Word of God (the Bible), praise and worship are also our weapons!
You are called to be a prayer warrior – the world NEEDS you! Your family and friends NEED you to pray for them! To live your walk out before them! It may seem like a little thing – but spiritually it is HUGE. You may not know until we are on the other side of the grave how much of an impact our lives have made for the kingdom of God! You are called to use your talents, your gifts, your life for Jesus! Remember – God is concerned with souls! Remember Jesus said in John 13:34:
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”
Let Holy Spirit work through you to be a vessel of God’s love! It’s not that difficult to do, if you love the LORD your God with ALL your heart, your mind and your soul – Holy Spirit (Who sees your heart) will radiate through you and people WILL see a difference within you and want what you have – which is the peace, love and joy of the LORD, and God WILL be glorified through you. There IS no greater joy than allowing Him to draw others unto His unbelievable love…
