You are NOT Alone

Are you in a situation where you feel as though no one understands you? As though you are at a standstill in your life with no idea how to move forward?  Do you feel alone in a room crowded with people? That no one “gets” you?  Are you at a point in your life where you don’t even KNOW what happened or how you allowed yourself to be at the point you are at? There is absolutely NO worse feeling than feeling as though you are alone.  Loneliness is one of the WORST feelings we can experience… Are you going round and around about a situation with no idea or solution of what to do?  Listen, shut off ALL the noise in your head and give this post your undivided attention, you are at your MOST vulnerable when you feel like all I have listed above, and it is when you feel this way that the enemy (ol’ slewfoot) comes in and whispers into your ear ALL the accusations he can to make you feel worse.  As you read the words in this post right now, I rebuke the accusations in Jesus’ name from being louder than what Holy Spirit is trying to minister to you right now.  Accusations STOP right now in Jesus’ name.  Peace of God and understanding of God’s truth, be loosed within each reader reading these words RIGHT now in Jesus’ name!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Let me say it again and I want you to HEAR Holy Spirit telling you this!  It is NOT a mistake that God has brought you to this post!  I want you to declare these words outloud:

“I AM NOT ALONE!”

The truth of the matter is that whether or not you have been aware of it, doesn’t make the truth null or void. 

GOD LOVES YOU!  

Some of you are reading this and your response is, “yeah, right Kelly…” And you’re scoffing.  STOP and listen!  I know what it is like to be rejected! I know what it is like to be ostracized and feel alone.  I’m not speaking to you from a place of distance, I’m speaking to you as someone who KNOWS.  But here is the truth of God, open up your eyes to see, your ears to hear and your heart to receive what it is Holy Spirit has brought you here RIGHT now to hear!

YOU (YES YOU! I’m looking through my computer screen and pointing to you right now!) Have NEVER been alone!  NEVER!  Our feelings are deceptive, they change constantly!  But the truth of God is steadfast, and it NEVER changes!  Listen! The Word of God IS truth beyond ANYTHING that you have experienced or ARE experiencing!  Jeremiah 1:5 says:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart.”

Think on those words for a minute – God lovingly and preciously created you (no matter how your conception took place) in your mother’s womb!  He KNEW you BEFORE you were born!  You have been set a part!  You are NOT alone – you are SPECIAL!  He set you a part!  God created you with a purpose in mind!  God has a plan for your life!  Perhaps you have been going to the beat of your own drum and that hasn’t been working for you – isn’t it time you quieted your thoughts and raised your eyes towards the One who created you for a special purpose?  Who set you a part? Psalm 139:13-16 says:

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”

Dearest person reading this – if you have never felt special in your life, I pray that you comprehend the fact that the Giver of life Himself has MADE you special!  Perhaps no one has ever told you that before!  The enemy of our soul, the accuser most certainly does NOT want you to come into the understanding that you were created for a purpose!  It is time for you to rebuke Him in Jesus’ name!  It is time for you to walk in the purpose that God originally created you to have!  It is time for you to lift your eyes up to the One who KNOWS you.  The One who SEES you!  The One who LOVES you!  And ask Him to reveal Himself to you!  How do I know this?  Because when I was at the lowest point in my life when I didn’t see a way – the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE came into MY life and revealed Himself to me!  He wants to do the SAME with you!  I cannot find the words to write to tell you how REAL God is!  That He wants to reveal Himself to you and show you a love and purpose that you CANNOT even wrap your mind around and imagine!  The only way you can do this is to open up your heart to Him.  Hey – honestly, what do you have to lose if you think I’m wrong????  (I assure you I’m not) but the only way You are going to find out – is to ASK Him!

ASK HIM!

No one needs to know!  Just right there where you are at – ASK Him!  And I PROMISE you!  God WILL reveal Himself to you in JUST the way you need Him to!  Don’t know how to ask?  God doesn’t NEED or require any fancy words from you – He wants you to be you!  But I’ll write out a prayer to help you ask.  All you need to do is say it outloud.  Why?  Because Romans 10:9 says:

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Okay, ready?  Remember – you have NOTHING to lose if this is a heartfelt prayer, if you mean it.  If you REALLY want to have God enter into your life and SHOW you His love.  But you have to really want it…  Because God looks at your heart! HE SEES YOU RIGHT NOW.  Okay, let’s say it together:

“Father God, Thank You for bringing me to this post… I want to believe it.  I want to experience Your love for myself. Lord, IF You are real, I need You to reveal Yourself to me… First, I ask that You forgive me for my sins, and wash me with the precious blood of Jesus. I choose RIGHT now to accept Jesus as my Savior. I choose to make Jesus Lord over my life. I believe Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, that He lived a sin-less life and died on the cross for forgiveness of my sins.  Right now, I choose to accept the gift of salvation You provided in Your Son, Jesus.  Come into my life and be my Savior and Lord.  I receive it, in Jesus’ name I pray Amen.”

Did you pray that prayer?  You may be wondering what difference is that going to make – but you have just ushered the God of ALL creation through His Holy Spirit right there in your heart!  You have made the BIGGEST difference you could EVER make in your life because you have chosen the Giver of life!  And even as you read these words there are angels around you rejoicing at your decision!  Seriously! Luke 15:10 says:

“In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

God has ALWAYS had a plan and a purpose for your life!  He created you with gifts!  What do you enjoy doing? It might be something that you’ve always done and haven’t ever considered a talent – hey, for me it was writing!  I ALWAYS wrote!  But I never considered it “a gift” until I began seeking what God’s will was for my life.  What do I mean by that?  Well, when I pray, I talk to God like I am talking to you right now. Prayer is simply talking to God.  You don’t have to say any “fancy” words – just come to Him as YOU are!  Like you are talking with a dear friend who is sitting right beside you!  Because He is!  And here is the coolest thing – He knows your thoughts BEFORE you have even THOUGHT them!  So, you don’t have to put up ANY front or pretense with God!  David said it best in Psalm 139 look:

“Lord, you have examined me and know all about me. You know when I sit down and when I get up.  You know my thoughts before I think them.  You know where I go and where I lie down.  You know everything I do.  Lord, even before I say a word, You already know it.  You are all around me – in front and in back – and have put Your hand on me.  Your knowledge is amazing to me; it is more than I can understand.  Where can I go to get away from Your Spirit?  Where can I run from you?  If I go up to the heavens, You are there.  If I lie down in the grave, You are there.  If I rise with the sun in the eat and settle in the west beyond the sea, even there You would guide me.  With Your right hand You would hold me.  I could say, “the darkness will hide me.  Let the light around me turn into night.” But even the darkness is not dark to You.  The night is as light as the day; darkness and light are the same to You.  You made my whole being; You formed me in my mother’s body. I praise You because You made me in an amazing, wonderful way.  What You have done is wonderful.  I know this very well.  You saw my bones being formed as I took shape in my mother’s body.  When I was put together, You saw my body as it was formed.  All the days planned for me were written in Your book before I was one day old.”
