Why Are You Looking for the Living Amongst the Dead?

I am not certain who this Word is for, I am only certain that Holy Spirit is directing me to write it, so please listen carefully…

There is someone reading this who has been extremely frustrated with life, with yourself, with your loved ones and with EVERYTHING around you.  You are feeling like you are out of answers and solutions and are just about to throw up your hands.  You are feeling like a squirrel going round and round on one of those hamster wheels.  You are out of answers and don’t know what to do.  God is asking you:

“Why are you looking for the living amongst the dead?”

In other words, you will not find your way out of whatever situation you are in by doing the same thing you have always done.  God wants to know if you are at a point yet where you are willing to:

“Be still and know that He is God.”

You have been looking in ALL the wrong places – the “dead” places to fill what was ONLY purposed to be filled by Him.

He has watched you go back and forth, round and round, side by side for quiet sometime until you have finally come to the realization that nothing is working for you!  You have had to tucker yourself out after searching high and low for the answer.  God wants you to know:

“I AM the answer.  The ONLY Way out.  I AM the Way, the Truth AND the Life.  I AM the Beginning AND the End.”

You have tried EVERYTHING you could think of trying –

EXCEPT GOD

And He is saying to you, even as you read these words:

YOU NEED TO ACCEPT GOD

You need to simply STOP looking to dead things, dead answers, dead advise – and turn to the One Who IS Life.  Turn to the One Who IS the Answer.  Turn to God.  He sees your weariness, in fact, He sees that you are trying to ready yourself to go around the mulberry bush again, but He wants you to know that you have looked for the answer EVERYWHERE the Answer is NOT and He wants you to look to Him.

SPIRITUALLY DEAD PEOPLE CAN’T ADEQUATELY HELP YOU.

THE ANSWERS OF THE WORLD CANNOT FILL YOUR EMPTINESS

LOOKING TOWARDS THE CREATION INSTEAD OF THE CREATOR WILL FAIL YOU EVERY TIME!

Stop looking to the dead for answers. Only the Living God can heal you, fulfill you, comfort you, guide you, complete you, forgive you, direct you and if you JUST look to Him, you will see what He means.  Let’s pray:

Father God, I’m stopping in my tracks right now.  I’m bowing my head and raising my eyes up to You.  Father, I’m tired of trying to figure it out by myself… I’m tired of life feeling like a maze that I can’t find my way out of.  Forgive me for coming to You last… It seems so obvious to me now that I have stopped to think about it, how could ANYONE know me any better than the One Who created me, Himself? I realize that what I should be saying is – “God, I need You.  Father, I cannot make it without You and I am SO tired of trying… Please forgive me, wash me clean, forgive me for my sins.  I am crying out to You, Oh Living God, my Heavenly Father, my Lord and Savior, please touch my heart and heal me.  I choose to accept You as my Savior, thank You Jesus, for dying on the cross for forgiveness of my sins, please come into my life and be Lord over it.  I freely of my own will give my life to You. I look towards the living God and turn my back of ALL dead things in this life.  All things that speak against Your Truth for I know that YOU are the Way, the Truth AND the Life.  Jesus, please by Your Holy Spirit, live in me.  Thank You Jesus, for hearing this prayer and seeing my heart, so You and You alone know the truth of these words. In Your precious name I pray, Amen.

If this Word resonates in you and you feel as though that Word was for you, I want you to know that God is raising your life up to be something beautiful RIGHT NOW.  He has plans BEYOND your wildest imagination – you JUST have to believe Him! Develop your relationship with Him, talk to Him, LISTEN to His voice.  Read your Bible (the Word of God) for surely God will speak to you through it! I sense that Holy Spirit is filling you even now with His good and perfect peace.

You are alive – God chose you for SUCH a time as this!  He loves you SO SO much!  LET HIM.  And in doing so, you will be as Jeremiah 17:8 says:

“He is like a tree planted by the waters that sends out its roots toward the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes, and its leaves are always green. It does not worry in a year of drought, nor does it cease to produce fruit.”

Let God love you, don’t allow ANYTHING or ANYONE from growing closer in your walk with God. Choose life.  Choose Him. <3
