This is the post that no one wants to believe… This is the post that either causes you to fear, scoff or turn away from, because most people don’t want to hear this. And the enemy of your soul, with his hands crossed over his chest – laughs AT YOU. Why?
BECAUSE HIS MOST SUCCESSFUL TRICK IS TO KEEP YOUR MIND BLINDED TO GOD’S TRUTH.
He is cunning – has been since the very beginning since he and his angels were thrown out of Heaven. He is written about in the Bible, he has many names, lucifer, satan, the bright morning star, deceiver, serpent (I never give his names capitals for I don’t feel he is worthy of it). Those names are just a few. Have you yet read in the Bible what happened to him? (Or even in Revelations what WILL happen to him?). Revelations 12:9 tells us:
“And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”
Isaiah 14:12-15:
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit.”
Ezequiel 28:11-17 tells us:
“Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; therefore, I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart waw lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, i laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you. You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; therefore, I brought fire from your midst; it devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; you have become a horror and shall be no more forever.”
Listen, he deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden by causing doubt in her head about the Father. You can read about that in the book of Genesis 3:1-6:
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.”
The tricks the enemy used then is the SAME tricks he uses NOW. Make no mistake, he is cunning – if you don’t believe in him, then you don’t believe in the Bible. You can’t believe some of it and not ALL of it. The Bible FULLY is the inspired Word of God. ALL OF IT. We have an enemy that does NOT want you to be in a right relationship with God! He wants you to think he is just this fable of a character, red with horns and a pointed tail. But he is SO much more than that. He is a liar, a deceiver, a thief, a murderer and he HATES you because God LOVES you! If he has convinced you that he is not real, then he has done what he set out to you! He doesn’t want you to accept Jesus as your Savior. Make Jesus Lord OVER your life. He doesn’t want you to be redeemed. He doesn’t want you to be in a right relationship with God. He wants you to live a physical life without God and ALL God has for you. To fulfill God’s purpose in your life and tell others about the amazing love of God! He wants you to have an eternal life without God. He has blinded the world from the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray the words of this post resonate with you. If you are feeling fear over this – YOU SHOULD. Protection, redemption, covering come ONLY from accepting God’s redemption! Don’t let the enemy fool you as he fooled Adam and Eve. God brought you to this post for a reason! For you to be informed! For your eyes to see, ears to hear and heart receive the precious gift of salvation that was purchased for you, by Jesus at a very high cost! The Bible says in Mark 8:36-38:
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
The Bible also tells us in Matthew 7:14:
“But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
You and I have an enemy, but here is the Good News – Jesus through His death and resurrection has DEFEATED satan! satan’s days are numbered! Revelations 20:10 tells us:
“And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
We are in the middle of a spiritual war, whether you choose to believe it or not. Open your eyes! Hear the Word of God! The battle for your soul rages ALL around you!
BUT IN CHRIST THE VICTORY IS OURS!
God has loved you enough to bring you read this post in the hopes that you will turn to Him! That you will share in the victory that His Son, our Savior has purchased with His blood for us! If you have breath in your body, you STILL have time to defeat the enemy – but there is ONLY ONE WAY! That is to make a heartfelt confession of faith. Allow Jesus into your heart by power of the Holy Spirit! Break the hold that the enemy has over your life! Don’t leave this post without praying this prayer. It may be simple, but it will be the most important decision you will EVER make. The ONLY decision that has eternal consequences for you and unmeasurable value. Choose to believe God and NOT the devil, your enemy. When you do the Bible tells us that ALL of Heaven rejoices! They have a party in Heaven over you! Choose to walk in the fullness of the love that God has for you! If this resonates with you, pray with me:

I realize something has been missing in my life, I just didn’t know it was You! Forgive me Father! Wash me clean of all my sins! I want and I choose this day to accept Jesus as my Savior. Make Him Lord OVER my life. Jesus, please come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I choose victory through your shed blood on the cross for forgiveness of my sins! I believe that You left the glories of Heaven, came down to earth clothed in flesh, lived a sin-less life and died a horrible death on the cross taking my sins and the sins of the world upon You! That You defeated sin and death and rose from the grave. That even now You are seated on the right-hand of the Father interceding on MY behalf! Thank You Father! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Holy Spirit! I CHOOSE YOU! I accept Your gift of redemption! In Jesus’ precious name I pray, AMEN.”
If you prayed that prayer, you just delivered a lethal blow to the enemy of your soul!
YOU NOW BELONG TO GOD – FOR ALL ETERNITY! THROUGH JESUS’ SACRIFICE AND YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF HIS GIFT, YOU ARE HIS! THE VICTORY IS YOURS!
