What If You Are Wrong???

Maybe you have read some of my posts and have shaken your head and decided that now is not the time for you to take my advice and choose to accept Jesus as your Savior, make Him LORD OVER your life right now. Maybe you think there are “many ways” to get to Heaven… Or maybe you don’t believe in a God Who would “send” anyone to hell. Or maybe you just think you’ll put it off until you are “old and grey.”  Okay, I don’t agree with you but let’s examine your reasoning…

WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG?

First of all, I have to say this – God doesn’t “send anyone to hell” You have a loving Creator Who created you with “free will” or the ability to decide for yourself whether or not you want to accept His gift, through His Son, Jesus of salvation. 

THE DECISION IS YOURS TO MAKE

To reject God’s gift of redemption in THIS life is to make an eternal decision. This is the ONE decision in your life that will affect where YOU choose to spend eternity. WITH God or WITHOUT God.  God has done EVERYTHING He can to show you that He loves you! That He wants you! That He created you to BE in fellowship with Him forever!

WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG?

Are you willing to chance the MOST important decision you will ever make in this life for eternity??? For the Bible itself is God’s love letter to us.  It tells us in John 5:24:

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment but has passed from death to life.”

And in John 12:48:

“The one who rejects Me and does not receive My words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.”

The Bible tells us in John 14:6:

“Jesus said to Him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN IN WHICH YOU CAN BE SAVED

WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG?

Maybe you are saying:

“But Kelly, I’m a good person.  I do the best I can. I help others, I give to charities. I’ve never purposely hurt anyone.”

Listen, I hear you! I do! But you CAN’T “earn” Heaven.  You can’t!  The Bible says in Isaiah 64:6:

“But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are like filthy rags. We all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Romans 3:23 tells us:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 says:

“For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”

The Bible is God’s love letter to us! Maybe you are thinking:

“The Bible is so old, it was written by men so many years ago. It is fallible and not relevant to us today.”

Do you truly not believe that the God Who Created the universe can’t preserve His Holy Book?  The Bible itself says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17:

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

and in Hebrews 4:12:

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG???

Are you REALLY willing to bet your ETERNAL life on that? That’s a pretty big gamble! I’m hoping that these words will give you food for thought, if you have read this far into this post, I am praying that you are REALLY thinking on what the MOST important decision that you will EVER make in your life will be.

TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION

ONE DAY EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD

DON’T BE WRONG – ALLOW JESUS TO MAKE YOU RIGHT

HE PAID THE PRICE – YOU ARE PRECIOUS TO HIM! HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU TO BE REDEEMED

Won’t you give your life to Him in return? It’s the ONLY place where the “peace that passes ALL understanding” resides.  He IS the ONLY Way to Heaven.  He SEES you!  He’s CALLING you!  He LOVES you! It’s called a “personal” relationship for a reason – it’s between YOU and Him! Taste and see that the LORD is good! See for yourself! Pray with me!

“Father God, in a world full of change, a world that seems to be growing darker by the moment, I recognize that I have tried EVERYTHING else but You! Nothing seems to take this empty feeling inside of me! I am deeply troubled and I can’t think of anywhere else to turn! Something inside of me is telling me I need more! If this “more” is You, I choose YOU right now.  If You are REALLY real – please make Yourself real to me! Thank You for bringing me to this post, thank You for Jesus’ gift of salvation.  Thank You for forgiving me for my sins! Jesus, please come into my life and be my LORD and Savior. I choose YOU.  In Jesus’ precious name I pray AMEN.”

If you prayed that prayer and meant it deep within your heart, I PROMISE YOU – God IS going to reveal Himself to you in a VERY personal way! Watch and see! The Bible says in Luke 15:7:

“I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

Hey, they are having a party in Heaven over your choice right now!~ They are rejoicing! And the best is YET to come!
