God loves you so much… YOU were created IN LOVE, it doesn’t matter how your conception occurred – God created you! And He created you with a purpose in mind! He created you with specific gifts that make you special! There is only ONE you! You ARE special! Your job is to discover just what that purpose is!
Here is the thing – you have an enemy that is doing everything in his limited power from having you discover or walk in that calling that God has put in/on your life. Why? Because he knows that there is absolutely NO GREATER JOY than walking in the purpose and calling that God created you to live, move and have your being! To allow the beautiful light of Christ to shine forth from you, God’s chosen vessel! Think about it this way, what good is a musical instrument unless it is picked up and played? Sweet music radiates from it when it is put to use, multiplied with other instruments it becomes a symphony! Your life was meant to honor the Creator! And oh what joy and satisfaction and sense of well-being and purpose occurs when you realize the TRUE reason for your life!
And listen! The God of Creation is NOT a “boring” God! Some people think Heaven is a place of people strumming harps and floating around on clouds – REALLY?!!!! Let’s think about this, okay? Did God not create you with senses to hear, see, smell, taste, touch ALL that is around you? Did God not create the beauty of nature (of which we simply see in the beauty of its fallen state, can you imagine how glorious creation looked BEFORE sin entered the world through the fall of Adam and Eve???
GOD IS NOT A BORING GOD!
Of course ol’ slewfoot would want you to believe that! The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9:
“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
The calling that God has on your life is BEYOND ANYTHING that you could choose for yourself!!!!! I speak as one who knows, and is STILL in awe over all Holy Spirit desires to accomplish in and through me – in HIS time! The only thing He asks is that I be a WILLING vessel!
God IS the God of LOVE. Our thoughts, our ways, our desires are so minute compared to ALL He longs to do for us, through us, in us! If ONLY we will allow Him!
There is nothing sadder than to live a life ignorant to what God intended for you. Can you imagine coming to the end of your life, standing before God and Him showing you what He had in mind for you and for you having chosen “mediocre” instead? Living a life FOR Christ is a life well-lived! Complete! Exciting! Knowing that you are TOTALLY dependent upon Him and can do NOTHING in and of yourself! Listen, if you are reading these words, Holy Spirit brought you to this post. Why? Because He is calling you! He wants you to know that YOU are NOT an “ugly duckling” you were created for SO much more!!! He wants you to know and to believe that:
GOD SEES YOU! HE KNOWS YOU! YOU WERE CREATED FOR GREATNESS!
David says in Psalm 39:
“Show me, Lord , my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure.”
True security, true purpose is found in Christ Jesus! True security and purpose comes with the knowing that the Father loves you! Has a purpose for you! Desires a deep, personal relationship with Him! This can ONLY be found in accepting Jesus as your Savior, making Him Lord OVER your life! Seeking God’s purpose for the life He has blessed you with! And the ONLY way you can experience that “peace that passes ALL understanding” through ALL that comes your way, is to know just Who it is that holds you in the very palm of His hand! Fulfilling your God given purpose that when you were woven in your mother’s womb, God created you to fulfill! And it is sooooooo much better than ANYTHING you could purpose for yourself!
YOU JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE!
If you are feeling depressed, discouraged, useless – it is probably because you have that “ugly duckling” mentality… YOU are NOT an ugly duck, you are a precious, beautiful child of the utmost high God – created to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. To know and make Jesus your Savior, Lord over your life and discover ALL that God has in store for you – the TRUE purpose He created you! Your life’s song! So that YOU can fly high in Him! Why? Because He loves you so much more than you could EVER know. You only have to set your mind to believe. Just believe!
